Pre Laser Treatment Instructions

Avoid tanning since tanning can affect the laser’s ability to treat the skin effectively, resulting in undesired results. Avoiding tanning for approximately one month before the treatment is best.

Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or using hair removal cream on the area to be treated.  Avoid exfoliating or using products with alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids, or retinol for 3 days before your laser treatment.

Post Laser Treatment Instructions

Avoid exposure to sun and tanning booths for one-month post-laser treatment.

Avoid exfoliating or using products with alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids, or retinol for 3-5 days post-treatment.

Avoid exercising or taking a hot bath for 24 hours post-treatment.

Some procedures will require using a cream after your treatment, and you should use this as directed by your clinician.

Use a mild cleanser and mild moisturizer initially following your treatment, as the skin is more sensitive.

An SPF 30 or higher should be worn every day post-treatment.
