Coolsculpting

What is the Coolsculpting treatment like?
A CoolSculpting® treatment typically takes as little as 35-75 minutes, depending on the area treated, with treatment sessions lasting 1-3 hours on average. For most patients, two or more treatment sessions are recommended to help reach their body contouring goals.
As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you will feel pressure and intense cold. This soon dissipates. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptops, or even nap during treatment. The procedure is completely non-surgical, so typically, you can return to normal activities immediately. Oftentimes, patients return to work after their CoolSculpting session is over.
Results
You may start seeing changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment and experience the most dramatic results after two months. But your body will still flush out fat cells and continue doing so for up to four to six months after treatment.

Are there any side effects?
During the procedure, you may experience pulling, tugging, mild pinching, intense cold, tingling, stinging, aching, and cramping at the treatment site. These sensations lessen as the area becomes numb. Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental or submandibular area treatment.
