Vascular Laser
At SkinOvations, we use Cutera Excel V® and Candela Vbeam® laser therapies to address various dermatological vascular concerns.
Cutera Excel V® Laser
The Cutera Excel V is a laser treatment system that uses two wavelengths of laser light (532 nm and 1064 nm) to treat a wide range of superficial and deep vascular lesions, pigmentary issues, and skin revitalization concerns safely and effectively.
The applications include rosacea, diffuse redness, facial veins, leg veins, periorbital veins, angiomas, port wine stains, poikiloderma, wrinkles, venous malformations, bruising, inflammatory acne, benign pigmented lesions, age spots, small-area hair removal, scars, and acne scars.

Candela Vbeam Laser
The Candela Vbeam system uses a pulsed dye laser (PDL) at 595nm or 1064nm wavelength to pass through the epidermal and dermal layers of the skin to deliver an intense but gentle burst of light into targeted areas of the skin. There it’s absorbed by the blood vessels or melanin pigmented areas, removing the targeted imperfections. The Vbeam system is FDA, CE, and TGA cleared.
The Vbeam laser treatments include birthmarks, port wine stains, redness, rosacea, dark spots, facial and leg veins, wrinkles, and acne.
What to Expect From Vascular Laser Treatment?
There may be some redness or swelling, similar to a mild sunburn after the session. This typically subsides within a few hours to a couple of days. Overall, the procedure is relatively quick and manageable, with minimal downtime. It is important to follow post-care instructions from our medical esthetician, which may include avoiding sun exposure and using soothing creams.
Most patients may notice results right away. Improvements are often seen after a few treatments depending on the treated condition. Multiple sessions may be necessary for optimal results.
